JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Associate to join its Global Finance & Business Management division at the Mumbai corporate campus. In this strategic, numbers-driven role, you will act as a key finance partner to line-of-business CFOs and senior leadership. You will handle annual budgeting, continuous forecasting, and month-end variance analysis to determine operational drivers behind performance shifts. A major focus of this role involves data modernization—interpreting massive financial datasets, building executive management dashboards, and leveraging automated applications to streamline reporting cycle times while preserving tight internal financial controls.

Requirements:

• Strong experience building advanced financial models, interpreting consumption and demand plans, and tracking capital efficiency metrics.
• Highly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, data manipulation, pivot structures) and PowerPoint for building executive-ready decks.
• Practical proficiency in mining, cleaning, and structuring disparate data systems into structured performance insights.
• A proven track record of handling urgent ad-hoc data requests and special finance projects under tight turnarounds with minimal guidance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to deliver concise strategic conclusions to senior leadership, coupled with the confidence to challenge peers constructively.
